Drink stations for your wedding

Something that has characterized weddings in recent years is the constant push to break with traditional paradigms and fill celebrations with ideas and themes that can be classified as "thinking outside the box."

On this occasion, we'll talk about one of these trends that's here to stay and is undoubtedly leaving its mark on the celebration's creative side. As we've mentioned on several occasions, wedding food and drinks are always a topic with a lot to offer, so without further ado, let's get to the point: the beverage stations.

Continuing with the successful formula that propelled dessert tables and later savory bars, beverage stations introduce liquids to the self-service section and the creation of custom drinks.

For those of us who have attended one of these celebrations, one of the downsides is the slowness of the drinks, because if it's a traditional organization, you depend on the agility of the waiters and the efficiency of the people serving the drinks.

A problem that seems almost solved with the stations, since an intermediary is no longer required; you are the one who goes for your drink, and the longest delay will be encountered if there are people before you.

What do they consist of?

But the idea itself is very simple: these are spaces designed to quickly find a series of drinks that fit a selected theme, with minimal third-party interaction. This fixed theme allows for multiple stations to cater to different tastes. Now, as for the presentation, once again, creativity is the limit, but as usual, these are some ideas that have become popular.

Beer bars

A classic that most people are happy with and can be presented in a variety of ways. From the most elegant, with a small cart holding tanks of different styles of beer, to the most innovative, such as a wheelbarrow filled with ice that doubles as a neighborhood cooler.

Mimosa bar

For those inclined to celebrate in the morning, what better way to pamper your guests than with a breakfast classic: mimosas. A flash of elegance with a sparkling wine base and an energizing zing with fresh seasonal fruit juice.

Coffee and tea bar

Continuing with options to start the day that don't require the presence of spirits, coffee and tea bars are a surefire choice, although they do require the presence of some baristas to ensure the proper preparation of the different styles of these morning infusions.

Spirits bar

As its name suggests, this is a space for finding a variety of different spirits that can be enjoyed on their own. A great companion, however, is a small section where guests can let their imaginations run wild and create a cocktail to their liking.

Non-alcoholic beverage bar

One of the must-haves, regardless of the wedding theme, is this type of season where options such as fresh waters, infusions, mocktails, or non-alcoholic cocktails come together.
