The best places to propose

We've compiled a list of our favorite spots in Mexico—a beautiful place to go when you want to make an engagement ring or wedding band a reality. There are so many places to propose in Mexico, but you can't go wrong with any of these!

1. Tulum is a great place for couples looking to start their wedding on the right foot. Also known as one of the most romantic cities in all of Mexico, Bacalar Beach is the quietest, most uncrowded spot, making it a great choice. With a perfect view, you know you've got something going for you when you're looking to get married there. Holbox Island is known for having spectacular views and a very relaxing setting, quiet and just connecting with nature. The results are incredible if you're planning to get married there.

2. Mexico City - There are many beautiful places to propose in this city. We recommend the Templo Mayor or the National Museum of Anthropology, Balcon del Zocalo; these are open spaces that make it more public. But if you're looking for something more private, I recommend exploring nature, such as Chapultepec Forest, Nevado de Toluca, La Marquesa, or Desierto de los Leones. These places make it more peaceful and you won't feel the pressure of social distancing.

3. Puerto Vallarta - It's a natural paradise, with the beautiful Pacific Ocean's waters, creating a very harmonious and relaxing place that connects you with your inner self. The lookout point is a place where many have come to propose, as the view is extraordinary. The Vallarta Botanical Garden is perfect, hidden in the Sierra Madre Mountains. It's full of wonderful gardens, and its atmosphere is perfect for proposing. And if you want something more elegant than a beach ceremony, try getting married at one of these beautiful hotels on their own private beach.

There are so many places in Mexico that are perfect for proposing, but it's hard to choose! Once you've chosen the perfect proposal location, it's time to finalize the details. You'll need to make sure everything is ready for the big day and that all your guests are present. You'll also want to make sure you have an emergency plan in case something goes wrong.
